HEALING!
I define healing as a gentle touch, comfort and a connection with another human being.
As a native Southern California girl, with roots strongly entrenched in a health-conscious lifestyle, I was raised in an atmosphere of love with a supportive family. My dad introduced me to my love of sports, especially fast-pitch softball as he was my coach during my youth in Glendora my hometown. In my adult years I participated in Coed Slo-pitch softball for the city of Anaheim for many years, which culminated in playing women's softball all across the south-land.
My athleticism and general curiosity of the healing arts resulted in my quest for a deeper understanding of the benefits of body work through the healing application of therapeutic massage. As such, I was inspired to pursue this line of education seeking a Certification in Massage Therapy and becoming a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT). I obtained my credential through the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) and I am also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
My technique features an integrative approach consisting of the modalities of Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point therapy with a myofascial component. My personal interests include geriatric massage with the senior population as I believe massage can provide physical relief to individuals suffering with Alzheimer's and dementia. Gentle touch provides deep comfort and connection for all seniors!
I became a massage therapist "later-in-life" because I truly feel God has lead me to this field that I might serve the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of men and women of all ages. My massage method incorporates the "total person" considering each individual's personal needs. Additionally, I have over ten years of business and administrative experience and enjoy assisting disabled veterans. I am also a registered Home Care Aide
